Some of Thales Australia’s recent Communications and Operational Control Centre system deployments include:
- Sydney Metro North West: Thales delivered a turnkey Communications System and Central Control System for the 41km Northwest line, which comprises five brownfield and eight greenfield stations.
- Sydney Trains Common Telemetry Infrastructure Platform: Thales successfully implemented a system enabling bi-directional real-time communication with Sydney’s Waratah trains. The system can view live video-streaming CCTV cameras and retrieve recorded footage from the digital video recorders stored on trains. It also distributes train location information.
- Sydney Ferries Operations and Communications Information System (FOCIS): The system implemented by Thales provides ferry operators and the commuters real-time information about ferry operations.
