Monaco deploys Cryptobox solution from ERCOM, a Thales company
The Principality of Monaco's Interministerial Delegation for the Digital Transition (DITN) recently empowered the Digital Administration Directorate (DAN) and the Monegasque Digital Security Agency (AMSN) to deploy the Cryptobox solution from ERCOM to ensure secure document sharing and storage.
In 2017, the Principality adopted the company's Cryptosmart solution to secure mobile communications and devices, and is progressively deploying operational solutions to protect its data while stepping up its digital transformation as part of the Extended Monaco programme launched by the Sovereign Prince and implemented by the DITN.
Responding to the growing need to protect data from increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, the DITN, acting for the Monégasque Government, decided to deploy a secure, trusted solution for Administration users and certain external partners to share and store documents in collaborative workspaces. The DITN's requirements also included mobile functionality and highly granular management of access rights and permissions.
Standard Qualification for use with restricted information
The Cryptobox solution from ERCOM is the only solution of its kind to have received Standard Qualification for use with restricted information from ANSSI, France’s National Cybersecurity Agency. ANSSI's Standard Qualification was recently also recognised by the AMSN.
To meet the Principality's sovereignty requirements, all the data stored on Cryptobox will be hosted in Monaco.
Secure, flexible and easy to use, the solution is available on all mobile devices and personal computers.
