Thales is a sponsor of DEFSEC Atlantic, which will be held at the Halifax Convention Centre in Nova Scotia, Canada on October 3 - 5, 2023. The event is a major networking opportunity for the Aerospace, Defence and Security industries –  the second largest of its kind in Canada, focused on showcasing Atlantic Canadian opportunities.

Thales will have the following activities throughout the event:

October 3, 8:30 am EST – pre-DEFSEC engagement supplier event – Thales will have an industry brief and engage in meetings with suppliers to discuss capabilities and opportunities relating to a variety of direct and indirect areas of expertise in the marine, in-service support and technology sectors.

October 3, 3:30 pm EST – Cara Salci, Vice President, Strategy & Government Relations for Thales in Canada will be a mentor at the WiDS/WIA Speed Mentoring event.

October 5, 8:35 am EST – Chris Pogue, CEO of Thales Canada, will speak on a panel, with CORSphere & Datifex – the winners of the 2023 Naval Technology Innovation Challenges. 

October 5 – Thales is a sponsor of the ACADA Academic Day of Connection. The day  introduces graduating students from relevant disciplines to the opportunities within the Aerospace, Defence and Security industries. Christine Clarkson, Human Resources Director for Thales in Canada will moderate a new graduates panel.
