DEFSEC Atlantic 2019

The Canadian Defence Security & Aerospace Exhibition Atlantic (DEFSEC Atlantic) will be held at Cunard Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, October 1 - 3, 2019. The event is a major networking opportunity for the Aerospace, Defence and Security industries - the second largest of its kind in Canada, focused on showcasing Atlantic Canadian opportunities.

October 2-3: Connect with us at Booth 1005, where we will be showcasing how our our digital solutions are helping to create the next generation of maritime capabilities in Canada.

October 2, 2:15 pm - 2:30 pm: Industry Presentation"The Next Generation of In-Service Support Jobs in Canada's Marine Sector."  In collaboration with Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) and Camosun College, we will be presenting the results of the In-Service Support Workforce Study announced at DEFSEC last year. Topics will include employer readiness, education and training, in-demand occupations, recruitment & retention, and more.

October 2, 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Women in Aerospace Canada (WIA-C) Atlantic & Women in Defence & Security (WiDS) Speed Mentoring Event: Connect with Thales industry professionals for speed mentoring sessions and learn more about career opportunities.

October 3, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm:  Day of Connection Luncheon:  Thales Canada is the lead sponsor of the event. Cara Salci, Vice President, Strategy and Government Relations for Thales Canada, will be a keynote speaker at the event, where students will have an opportunity to explore the broad range of career opportunities available in the Ocean Technology, Aerospace and Defence industries in Atlantic Canada and beyond.
