NAFIPS 2020

The Annual Conference of the North American Fuzzy Information Processing Society  (NAFIPS) will be held virtually on  August 20-22, 2020.  The international event brings together scientists, engineers, students, and practitioners working in fuzzy logic and related areas to present their most recent research accomplishments. 

Thales will have the following speaking engagements throughout the event:

August 20, 1:20 pm -2:00 pm: Special Session on Genetic Fuzzy Systems II (Room A):

August 21, 9:10 am -11:10 am: “Fuzzy Logic based eXplainable AI – An Adopter’s Perspective” panel: Nick Ernest, Chief Architect, Thales USA, will join Dr. Kelly Cohen of the University of Cincinnati  to moderate the panel discussion.

August 21, 3:00- 4:00 pm Plenary Talk 6 - Nick Ernest, Chief Architect, Thales USA, will speak about his past work as the winner of NAFIPS 2019 Early Career Award.
