Dirk Jan de Bruijn appointed new CFO of Thales Deutschland

As of 1 June 2017, Dirk Jan de Bruijn (46) is Thales Deutschland's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President, Finance.

He succeeds Dr Hans-Jürgen Wagner who will take up a new, advanced position for Thales in the US. De Bruijn reports to Dr Christoph Hoppe, CEO of Thales Deutschland, and to Ronan Peron, SVP, Chief Group Controller and Finance DGOP.

“We would like to thank Hans-Jürgen Wagner for his dedicated and successful work at Thales Deutschland in the last ten years. We wish him all the best for his new professional challenge in the US”, says Dr Christoph Hoppe. “At the same time, it is our pleasure to welcome his successor Dirk Jan de Bruijn, a well versed financial expert who has already proven his profound expertise by working profitably for our Dutch colleagues at Thales Nederland.”

Dirk Jan de Bruijn holds a master’s degree in Business Economics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and is moving to Thales Deutschland from Thales Nederland where he last worked as a CFO. Prior to working for Thales, he held management positions at Technetix, a telecommunications company, and at the Husman Group, a logistics company. De Bruijn is married and has three children.
