Thales sponsors Combat Stress First World War concert

This month saw Thales UK, a long term supporter of Combat Stress, sponsoring and attending a special event in the charity’s calendar.

The “We Will Remember Them” event, held at St Johns, Smith Square, London, was a celebration of war themed music, poetry and speeches commemorating the opening days of World War One. Culminating in a guest performance from this year’s Britain’s Got Talent finalist, soprano Lucy Kay, the event was well attended by music lovers, supporters of the charity and Thales employees alike.

Speaking of our involvement and his attendance at the event, Mike Seabrook, Company Secretary, Thales UK says:

Our sponsoring of Combat Stress 95th year flagship event, commemorating the First World War that lead to the formation of the Charity in 1919, is part of Thales’s continuing commitment to support our Armed Services and ex-servicemen and women. The services that Combat Stress provide are in demand and we are keenly aware that this is set to continue and grow in the future. So our support, and that of others, is vital to the Charity in being able to meet that demand. We are proud to do so.”
