AIAA Intelligent Systems Workshop

The 6th annual AIAA Intelligent Systems Workshop will be held at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH on July 29 -30, 2019. The workshop is an important part of the AIAA Intelligent Systems Technical Committee (ISTC) annual activities and provides an informal, unclassified, international forum for the exchange of ideas and information on intelligent systems. Through the various sessions, speeches and discussions, participants will engage in these state-of-the-art topics and help provide a better understanding of the vision, capabilities, and challenges for future intelligent and autonomous systems.

Dr. Nick Ernest, Chief AI Architect for Thales USA, will participate in the event's third technical session, "Integration of Autonomy in Existing Ecosystems," with a focus on AI and its implications for defense. The technical session begins on July 30 at 9:00 a.m., with Nick speaking at 10:30 a.m. The discussion will be followed by a panel exploring various AI topics, including explainability, ethics, and more.
