Thales prepares for the European Congress of Radiology 2019 in Vienna

The European Congress of Radiology, the annual event of the European Society of Radiology which has been running since 1991, and the biggest medical imaging expo in Europe, will be taking place from Wednesday 27th February until Sunday 3rd March at the Austria Centre in Vienna. This year the ESR celebrates 25 years of this congress being held in Vienna, and we are excited to confirm our attendance at this illustrious event. We’ll be on the same booth as last year, Booth 410 Foyer D.

The congress will be a fantastic opportunity for our customers and competitors alike to see the trusted, high quality radiology solutions we offer, and to gain a better understanding of our innovations and ambitions. We will also be demonstrating the scope of our radiology range, promoting our softwares such as ArtPix DRF and EZ2GO, our wide range of sensors and other of our reliable and cutting-edge radiology solutions. Our stand will be organised into a radiography solutions zone, an interventional & fluoroscopy zone and, new for 2019, an innovation room which will really allow us to put an emphasis on how Thales is embracing the digital transformation  by integrating concepts such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Internet of Things and cybersecurity into our operations and how we’re striving to innovate with our ongoing research projects. For us the congress also represents a chance to speak with our customers and share thoughts on the industry, and it is for that reason that during the expo we’ll be holding a Welcome Hour event at our booth on Thursday 28th at 4pm, giving our representatives the opportunity to connect with customers in an informal setting as we share a drink and some Viennese pastries.
