Thales SEC Transport Win the Bid for the Signalling System Integration Project of Hefei Metro Line 4 South Extension

On May 19, 2022, Thales SEC Transport Automation Systems Co., Ltd. won the bid for the Signalling System integration project of Hefei Metro Line 4 South Extension Line. 

Hefei Metro Line 4 South Extension Line starts at Fenglehe Road Station and ends at Jinqiao Road Station. It has a total length of 13.9KM and has 8 stations including 3 underground stations and 5 elevated stations. 

With the gradual advancement of the strategic development of Hefei's western region, the travel problems of local citizens have become a key factor restricting the development of urban areas. The construction of Metro Line 4 South Extension Line will strengthen the connection between Hefei's western region and urban area, which have an important impact on the traffic layout of Hefei's western region and further promote the development of western region of the city. 

Thales SEC Transport has maintained close cooperation with Hefei Metro since partnering with Hefei Metro to build Hefei Metro Line 1, the first Metro line in Hefei.
