ETCS L1 – L3

Driver Advisory System - GreenSpeedTM
Via digitalization and clever software, our goal is to support the ongoing shift towards sustainable, CO2 emission-free rail transportation for both passengers and freight. Rail is already the most eco-friendly mode of transport, but we aspire to do even better.
Our Driver Advisory System (DAS) interprets data and constraints to provide actionable driving advice, optimizing speed profiles within limits, while adhering to the plan.
C-DAS takes it a step further by handling situations where the original plan is no longer feasible, accommodating new plans received from dispatchers to prevent surprises for drivers. This aids in maintaining smooth traffic flow and preventing network-wide delays.
Track Circuit TTC
The latest generation TTC audio frequency track circuit, developed entirely by Thales in Spain, provides predictive information for the maintenance of the system and ensures the safety of railway operations by detecting the occupation, presence and departure of a train in a given area. Its assembly can be carried out both indoors and in outdoor cabinets, as it has local and remote diagnosis. The solution complements the Thales Axle Counter family to provide the most comprehensive Train Detection Portfolio in the market.
Asset Management
Thales’ new Asset Management System is tailor-made to tackle rail operators’ biggest pain points. First and foremost, it connects to critical assets and enables their centralised monitoring. But it goes further than that. Thanks to our evolved maintenance concept, customers can now use a single platform and a common set of tools to do everything from classic condition monitoring to predictive maintenance and more.
