Take to the skies with the careers plane

Are you passionate about the world of aeronautics and space? If you are, then board the careers aircraft and find out from industry professionals about the many opportunities available to you.

Around forty professionals will be taking turns throughout the week to present seventeen careers, ranging from design to production to maintenance.

“L'avion des métiers” (careers plane) also brings together forty or so schools, colleges, CFAs and universities offering courses in aeronautics and space at all levels, and opening the door to careers and jobs in the sector. Not to mention a rich programme of events, testimonials and conferences throughout the week on the HR challenges the sector is facing, as well as the growing number of women in the field, and diversity and inclusion.

All the major manufacturers are present, including Safran, Dassault Aviation, Airbus, MBDA and, of course, Thales, which is presenting its hardware and systems business in the design category. On the stand you can also see a model of the UAS100 long-range drone and a virtual reality experience designed by Thales Alenia Space.

Some 5,000 students from nearly 260 institutions are expected to take part this week.

Are you ready to take off on the careers plane? Then come and see us in the Concorde hall...
