NUADA at I/ITSEC 2018

Come and see NUADA at I/ITSEC 2018, the new platform from Thales for coordinating networked training and simulation

Training providers are invited to see a demonstration of NUADA, a new digital platform that simplifies the planning, preparation and delivery of training in networked simulation environments.

NUADA is a platform developed by Thales to enable teams to work seamlessly together in a collaborative environment, no matter where they are located. They can schedule, create and track an event programme more effectively, using fewer resources and reducing the cost of training.

Visitors to I/ITSEC 2018 in Orlando, Florida, have an opportunity to see the first public demonstration of the product and give it a try.

Benoit Plantier, VP Training and Simulation at Thales said:

Deliverers of networked simulation training have to coordinate numerous work streams using different tools and deliver it all as a coherent package. We believe NUADA will simplify that process.

The demand for synthetic training, the use of simulators to train equipment operators, is rising as it provides increasingly realistic, effective training at a lower cost than traditional methods.

Networking is the next generation of training and simulation, offering collective environments in which dispersed military units can train and prepare for missions together.

However, delivering coherent training to all trainee participants requires a networked synthetic training system comprising of any number of simulators, a network to link them up and a whole set of infrastructure tools and services including exercise control tools, computer generated forces and role-player applications.
Until now, no single platform allowed planners and executors to coordinate efforts effectively.

NUADA offers key functionality for geographically distributed teams to coordinate networked training over distance:

  • Managing requirements and resources to create a programme of training events
  • Automating the deployment of multiple simulation environments and enables multiple events to be launched simultaneously
  • Integrating third party products, acting as the glue to bring a large number of tools together
  • Enabling events to be repeated and assets to be saved, stored and reused.

If you would like to find out more about NUADA, please visit Booth 1762 at I/ITSEC from 26 to 30 November or read more about NUADA here.
