Cannes, May 23rd, 2018 - The sixth batch of Iridium® NEXT satellites built by Thales Alenia Space has been successfully launched by SpaceX from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The success of this sixth launch for the Iridium® NEXT program further solidifies the company’s reputation for excelled expertise as prime contractor for sophisticated satellite communications (SATCOM) systems.
Critical design review successfully achieved
Bangabandhu Satellite-1 was successfully launched on May 11th 2018 by SpaceX.
May 4th 2018 - Bangabandhu Satellite-1 will be orbited in the upcoming days from Cape Canaveral, using a SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket.
