Surveillance situational awareness with:

ADS-B, MLAT and WAM

ADS-B

Dependent Cooperative Surveillance with cooperative targets

ADS-B is used for surface movement, terminal area and en-route control even in difficult air traffic environment.
ADS-B equipped aircraft broadcast their position and other information without any intervention from ground systems. As well as their position, aircraft broadcast their altitude, speed, identity and other information from on-board systems.

This surveillance solution can be deployed in stand alone mode or centralized mode.
Best of class technology, Thales’ ADS-B solution benefits of cybersecurity.
ADS-B solution can be used as well in naval environment to increase surveillance awareness and enhance safety.

ADS-B data from ground station can be directly processed and displayed at the TopSky - ATC automation center and other Air Traffic Management Center.

More than 2300 Thales ADS-B ground stations are in operation worldwide.

Multilateration and ADS-B ground surveillance

Small airport MultiLATeration systems (MLAT) of national Wide Area Multilateration (WAM)

Thales provides Multilateration MLAT and ADS-B solution to enhance surveillance data to Air Traffic Controllers to ease their daily operational work.

The Wide Area Multilateration system designed and built by Thales is a single versatile system to fulfil surface, precision approach monitoring to en-route cooperative surveillance needs.

Solution combines simultaneous Multilateration and ADS-B surveillance, including ADS-B monitoring.
