Thales Nederland and Benchmark Electronics complete strategic manufacturing arrangement

Last December an intended arrangement was already announced.  The agreement is now signed and shall become effective today.

“For Benchmark Almelo, the transition will expand our product offering and capabilities in the defense market,” says Herman Bartelink, General Manager of Benchmark Almelo. “The transferred employees of Thales will play a key role in our team and we look forward to leveraging their experience in the Almelo organisation for future growth. Under this agreement, we acquire certain inventory and equipment related to the electronics assembly operations.  As its our core business it is guaranteed we will continue to invest in the future to stay a top player in this field.”
