Patrice Caine on Connectivity

Connectivity is everywhere in our offices, in our living rooms, and in aircraft cabins. Connectivity is revolutionizing air travel, improving passenger experiences and airline operations. For Thales, connectivity took center stage at last week's Paris Airshow.

Patrice Caine, chairman and CEO of Thales Group, emphasized the importance of connectivity to the future of air travel and to Thales in general. In a LinkedIn posting last week, Caine characterized connectivity as an aid to help manage and tackle the complex questions for the airline industry regarding security and efficiency.

Our belief is that passengers should be able to maximize their time on board, whether they want to work, to prepare the rest of their trip or to entertain themselves. They should feel at home and perform every tasks, like paying, booking, checking and sending messages, or picking their favorites dishes as if they were on the ground.
