Thales Exhibits at Premier Event in Space Market

Thales Alenia Space for the first time will be exhibiting at the Space Symposium Conference and Exhibition in Colorado Springs, CO, this week.

Thales, a world leader in satellite manufacturing with more than 110 telecom and observation satellites under construction, will be showcasing its work in several key international projects for the space market, including its contributions to the International Space Station and to the Intermediate eXperimental Vehicle (IXV) reentry demonstrator. Additionally, at the show, Thales will be promoting its ELiTeBUS and PRIMA BUS with CompactSAR systems.

“The Space Symposium is an important event for our business, allowing us to connect with current customers and meet with potential new customers. Additionally, this event will serve to further elevate the brand profile of Thales Alenia Space in this market,” said Johanne Lecomte, vice president of business development of Thales Alenia Space in the U.S.

The Space Symposium has become widely known as the premier U.S. space policy and program forum and as the "must attend" opportunity for information on and interaction among all sectors of space, particularly the institutional satellite industry. The event draws thousands of international attendees and more than 150 exhibitors, covering a broad range of the latest in space innovation from nanotechnology to full-scale spacecraft.
