Thales's presence in Spain has taken on a new dimension in order to put at its clients' disposal exceptional human and technological resources in the four main business areas: Defence, Aeronautics and Space, Security and Transportation.
Thales occupies a leading position in control systems for transport thanks to its more than 65 years’ experience in Spain and its important contribution to modernising the Spanish railway network and to its participation in high-speed projects.
Thales carries out activities in space by Thales Alenia Space. In Spain it has Thales Alenia Space España, a Spanish company founded in 1988, dedicated to developing and supplying systems and space equipment for civilian and military programs, telecommunications, navigation, Earth observation, science, exploration, transportation and space infrastructure.
Thales is a world-leading provider of on-board and ground systems for the civil aerospace market. The company’s Aerospace activities employ 13,000 people, who are helping to define tomorrow's air transport solutions: cleaner, quieter and more efficient aircraft designed to fly safely in ever-more crowded skies.
