Gemalto recognizes EMEA channel partners at Annual Partner Summit

​​Amsterdam, 10 March 2016 – Gemalto announced its 2015 EMEA Annual Cipher Partner Award winners in Budapest this week in recognition of the role channel partners played in expanding Gemalto's reach in the identity and data protection market over 2015.

Pinewood, a specialist information security Dutch reseller walked away with the "2015 EMEA Channel Partner of the Year" award. Pinewood was recognized for achieving very strong revenue growth, achieving triple-digit growth, during 2015. They achieved this by actively cross-selling data protection solutions to both their existing and new customers. The Pinewood team prides itself on having above average technical knowledge of the solutions they offer and subsequently have a very good reputation in the market as trusted advisor to medium and large organizations in the Netherlands.

German reseller, IDpendant , was recognized as "2015 EMEA Portfolio Partner of the Year". Through the acquisition of SafeNet, Gemalto extended its reach into the Enterprise market and IDpendant clearly illustrated how a forward thinking partner can benefit from the opportunity to work with Gemalto's stronger combined portfolio. IDpendant achieved exceptional results by offering future ready solutions, complying with established standards, to their customers.

The "2015 EMEA Distributor of the Year" award went to Central Europe distributor, Clico, the largest specialized distributor with added value in the Polish and Central & Eastern European markets. Clico consistently illustrated their commitment to Gemalto with their market education activities both on general industry trends as well as providing quality pre- and post-sales support. Clico was recognized for their revenue growth fueled by an in-depth understanding of customers' business needs and delivering effective tools (both authorized as well as customized training courses) to help them protect their most valuable information at multiple levels, build efficient and secure networks, enable secure access as well as support consistent management across all of these.
