Most attractive employer 2025
Randstad conducts research into the attractiveness of companies worldwide (this year in 34 countries). In addition, they draw up a ranking of the most attractive employers in the Netherlands every year, based on this research. This year we are in 6th place! Compared to a place outside the top 10 in 2024, this is certainly a big improvement! The numbers 1 of the private and public sector receive the Randstad Award. This year these were ASML (for the private sector) & Máxima Medical Center (for the public sector).
Factors that played a role in the appreciation of private employers were in particular: financial health, career development, an attractive salary and good secondary employment conditions. This shows that Dutch employees see Thales as a financially healthy company with sufficient opportunities for growth (particularly as part of Thales Group). Our collective labor agreement and the secondary employment conditions here in the Netherlands are also appreciated.
Other topics that are often mentioned in the research are polarization in the workplace and connecting employers (from "them" to "us"). Employees generally attach great value to connectedness and cooperation.
Most attractive sector
The various active sectors in the Netherlands were also examined. These were assessed on the basis of attractiveness and familiarity. The division made shows that the high-tech industry is the only high-scoring (private) sector on both attractiveness and familiarity. Other sectors, such as the energy sector and IT sector, scored significantly lower on attractiveness.
