In a major step toward forensic modernization, Thailand’s Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS) has selected Thales’ advanced CABIS biometric identification system through a competitive international process. Delivered in partnership with CDG Systems Ltd., CABIS will strengthen CIFS’s capabilities in fingerprint, palmprint and facial identification, supporting high-stakes missions - notably identifying missing persons and human remains. Designed to manage up to 200,000 biometric records, the system enhances speed, accuracy and data security, aligning with national regulations and forensic standards.
