Cristian SFICHI

With a degree in Nuclear Physics and an MSc from Cranfield University and the Royal Defence Academy, Cristian has been in the industry for nearly 25 years. Starting as a junior marketing promoter of Racal radios in Romania, he wqs involved in the first transfer of technology project of this kind after 1989. He then successfully led a multidisciplinary manufacturing team of 150 engineers at ROMAERO to deliver projects on budget and on time for Airbus UK, GKN and BAE Systems. The latter has opened up its presence in Romania and successfully sold two Type 22 Frigates to the Romanian Navy. Cristian was appointed as BAE Systems Marketing Director for Southern Europe, a position he occupied until joining Thales in 2017.
