Rodrigo Modugno graduated from the University of São Paulo in electrical engineering, with a post-graduate degree in intelligent systems. His educational background also includes an MBA and a degree from the Brazilian War School.
He has over 15 years’ experience in R&D, project management and sales and operations, with a broad background in engineering and business development for civilian, defence and space markets.
He joined Thales in 2013, heading Brazil’s space engineering activity, as well as the sales team. Since 2018, as Domain Director, he has been in charge of the local activities of the surface radar business line. He is also a Board member of ABIMDE, the Brazilian defence trade association.
