Roel van Rijsewijk held various positions at Deloitte for twenty years, where he was a partner in charge of the cyber team. He has served as Senior Fellow at Deloitte's Center for the Edge, EMEA, where he helped boards of directors to seize opportunities through risk management at the cutting edge of business and technology.

 

As of 1 June 2020, Roel was appointed Director of CyberDefence at Thales in the Netherlands.

 

He is the author of the book The Upside of Cyber Risk and a regular keynote speaker at conferences.
