Roque CARMONA

Roque Carmona is an Electrical and Electronics graduate from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries in Strasbourg, and has an Executive MBA from HEC in Paris. He began his career in 1994 at GE Energy, as a commissioning engineer in the Projects department, and then after three years became site manager for turnkey power plants projects. He lived for eight years in different countries such as Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Malaysia, Jordan, Oman, Dubai, Denmark, Germany and the UK.

In 2001 he became head of the Construction and commissioning division in the Projects department. In 2004, he was appointed Purchasing Director for the Energy products division based out of France, and in 2010 became the Executive Sourcing Leader for the GE Gas Engines division based in Austria.

In early 2014, Roque joined Total as Vice-President of Purchasing for Total’s Refining & Chemicals branch based in Belgium. He took up his current position within the Thales Group in 2017.
