Valérie BERTHEAU

Founder of Product Policy function in all business units of the Group, her role is to ensure that the Group portfolio is competitive, attractive and profitable to contribute to Thales strategy, by leveraging R&D investments. Product Policy community represents circa 700 marketing & engineering leaders.

She also leads low carbon strategy of the product portfolio. Prior to that role, Valérie Bertheau has led strategy, business development and business unit management functions in military & civil aerospace, real-time COTS computing, mobility, and IT solutions. At the beginning, she was in charge of launching innovation projects based on dual technologies. 

She is graduated from ESCP Europe, Master Grande Ecole in High tech Marketing and from Ecole Centrale de Paris, Master II in industrial and innovation engineering. She is Auditor of 54° National Session “Armament & Economy of Defense” of IHEDN. She is president of 3AED-IHEDN association and vice-president of UNION-IHEDN.
