Telecommunications

Thales Alenia Space delivers advanced satellite capabilities to expand global connectivity and support a wide range of mission-critical services. As the prime contractor for the U.S.-based Iridium NEXT program, Thales Alenia Space has partnered with Iridium for more than a decade to develop the world’s most advanced, flexible, and high-performance satellite constellation. Additionally, Thales Alenia Space developed FlytLIVE, North America’s most redundant satellite-based in-flight connectivity network, powered by the SES-17 satellite with nearly 200 dynamic beams for fast, seamless coverage on high-traffic airline routes across the Americas and Atlantic.

Earth Observation

Thales Alenia Space engineers advanced Earth observation solutions that deliver accurate, high-resolution data for environmental monitoring, climate research, and natural resource management. In space observation, Thales Alenia Space plays a key role in the Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission, a joint U.S.-French satellite project supporting the monitoring of Earth's oceans, lakes, and rivers.

Thales Alenia Space satellite navigation solutions support precise positioning, timing, and navigation for a wide range of civil and commercial applications. Space Exploration

Thales Alenia Space plays a key role in enabling space exploration missions by designing and delivering advanced technologies for crewed habitats, deep space transportation, and scientific research. Thales Alenia Space is also a leading provider of pressurized modules for human spaceflight, supplying half of the International Space Station’s pressurized volume and building key modules for NASA’s Artemis program and the Lunar Gateway.
