    About the role:  

     

    This is a large scale Software Development Project across multiple sites, which as a result has created an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Software Configuration Manager to join the OneSky team. 


    The Software Configuration Manager (SCM) is responsible for defining and implementing, and Software Configuration Management strategy in support of the delivery of large systems Integration solutions across multiple sites and countries. The Software Configuration Manager produces and maintains the Software Configuration Management Plan which details the software configuration strategy at all points in the software lifecycle.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Defines , implements, maintains, and ensures adherence to Software Configuration Management plan in order to support efficient delivery of large systems integration solutions in a timely manner to a high quality.
      • Supports development teams with branching and tagging as appropriate.
      • Performs Change management across multiple repositories and sites.
      • Performs configuration audits, supporting the clear definition of the product / system.
      • Supports software builds (including troubleshooting compilation and build failures) , and the configuration management of documentation to support project needs.
      • Manages build servers, build tools and environments , variables and user accounts in collaboration with other teams.


    Essential Skills and Experience Required:

    • Experience of working and implementing Software Configuration Management and Build Management across multiple locations.
    • Experience using GIT/JIRA configuration management and change control tools.
    • Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) techniques.
    • Track record of delivering effective Software Configuration Management across the complete lifecycle (concept through to support) within a complex business environment.
    • Experience with System/Hardware/Software Configuration Management processes.
    • Software Engineering degree, or similar or relevant experience.


    Desirable Experience:

    • Experience of Documentation Configuration Management processes.
    • Experience of Product Lifecycle Management tools.
    • Experience of Data and Documentation tools.
    • Experience in the Aviation industry.

     

    Special Requirements: 

    Occasional interstate travel may be required, as well in travel overseas (site)

    We are currently looking for a Contract Manager to join the Thales E-Security team in Plantation, FL.
     
    The Contract Manager is responsible for the creation, negotiation, structuring, management and resolution of all contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and/or partners while minimizing risks to the corporation. Reviews and approves all agreements and RFPs for Thales e-Security, Inc. for protection of the company's contractual posture and adherence to company policy.  Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.  Contractual documents include but are not limited to reseller, integrator, end-user, supplier, service, license/patent agreements, RFPs, non-disclosure agreements and customer purchase agreements.  Customer interaction is with resellers and end users.
     

    Essential/Key Areas of Responsibility

     
    • Draft, structure, implement and manage contractual documents based on internal processes in order to establish and maintain good business relationships with customers.  Contracts include reseller agreements, independent contractor agreements, professional service agreements, master sales agreements, software license agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements;
    • Participate in the negotiation of contract terms and conditions with Customers / Partners;
    • Liaise with Procurement to ensure flow down of contract Terms and Conditions of to the suppliers;
    • Build and manage a contracts management system.  Assume process ownership for tracking and maintaining all key contract documents, including but not limited to coordinating renewals prior to expiration dates, preparing and documenting amendments, and serving as a reference resource for internal and external clients.  Assume process ownership for uploading contracts for filing existing contracts;
    • Prepare various status reports with respect to the status of Channel Partners, Master Agreements and other agreements;
    • Prepare summaries of contracts to identify key terms and conditions.  Advise management of contractual rights and obligations, as well as, provide interpretation of terms and conditions;
    • Monitor contractual risks and escalate issues and propose action plans or solutions;
    • Assist with the review and response to RFPs;
    • Provide overall technical support and guidance to the e-Security WW trade compliance team on day-to-day operational activities and issues, such as jurisdiction and classification determinations, licensing determinations, exemption/exception usage, and logistics/traffic support;
    • Assist the Senior Manager, Trade Compliance to develop, implement, and continually improve trade compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines for e-Security business operations;
    • Audit, on request, e-Security business activities to measure compliance with internal policies and procedures implemented to ensure compliance with U.S. trade controls and licensing requirements;
    • Maintain advanced knowledge of current U.S. trade control laws and regulations.
    • Special projects as needed;
     
    Technical Knowledge/Skills & Experience Required
     
    • 5-7 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager in a high technology company.
    • Experience reviewing and negotiating software license agreements.
    • Familiarity with U.S. trade controls, with particular focus on Customs regulations, encryption controls and technology transfer requirements.
    • Strong research and writing skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills, including public speaking ability.
    • Experience with government contracts and defense procurement advantageous, but not required.
    • Any other duties or tasks as assigned.

    • Law or Bachelor’s degree or higher.
