Can you give us a little background information on yourself and your career so far?

I was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. I attended Oklahoma State University, where I earned my bachelor's in management information systems. After college, I worked for Love's Travel Stops for five years, doing various roles as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and Quality Assurance, both internal and customer-facing. Eventually, I made my way back to Syracuse with my husband so that I could be closer to family.

I was looking for a change and came upon Thales in 2022, and the rest is history. When I am not working, I am quite busy with my 14-month-old daughter. I enjoy golfing and being outside in my free time!

What do you do at Thales?

I am a part of the TopSky UAS Solution. My role is Scrum Master, serving our US Product Team and our US DSO (Deployment and Services Operations) team. My day-to-day is to facilitate work and relationships. I genuinely enjoy working with people and look forward to creating professional and personal relationships with my teammates.

Why did you choose to join Thales?

At the time, I was looking for a change of pace and a new industry to enter. Little did I know that Thales would truly lift my professional and personal growth in ways that I could not imagine. I am thankful to my leadership team and teammates for providing me with opportunities to take advantage of.

Do you have any advice for people interested in joining Thales?

You will not regret it! Be ready to learn and immerse yourself in a challenge daily. Say yes to every opportunity; Thales will enhance your experience and career.

If you had to convince engineers to join AMS, what would you tell them?

AMS offers opportunities that you will not find anywhere else. We work on products and services that are new to the industry and cutting-edge. Because these ideas have never been done before, you are encouraged to be creative and collaborate with teammates who will push one another to find the best solution.
