On December 10, 2025, Thales received the “Best Open Source Strategy” award at the Open Source Experience trade show.

Presented by the CNLL (Conseil national du logiciel libre/National Free Software Council), this award recognises the work carried out over the past five years by the Group’s Technical Directorate.

It primarily rewards:

  • the structural and methodical transformation undertaken to promote Open Source;
  • the maturity of internal processes;
  • the actual impact within the Open Source community;
  • the commitment of teams across the company.

This award confirms Thales’ focus on openness, collaboration, and innovation in software development.
