Scorpion for military transport aircraft

HMD improving situational awareness for mission efficiency

  • Transport or refueling aircraft
  • Defence
  • Air

Scorpion helps Mission Aircraft Operators who want to enhance their mission success rate and responsiveness by improving target designation capabilities and coordination between crew members, reducing time and energy required to address a point of interest unlike head-down stand-alone mission sytems.

FORCES

  1. Critical vision for essential decisions

    • Full-colour display for superior augmented reality
    • Intra-crew line-of-sight sharing enhances operational
    effectiveness
    • Head worn technology boosts speed of designation
    • Eyes-out conformal vision improves tactical situational
    awareness

  2. Improving mission effectiveness

    • Enables clearer target identification without impacting flight
    operations
    • Optimizes communication, minimises chatter
    • Increases situational awareness even in the harshest
    environments
    • Operational consistency through seamless transition from
    day to night operations

  3. Simple and effective

    • The smallest form factor HWD system on the market
    • Platform agnostic enabling integration for any aircraft
    • Linefit or retrofit installation
    • Lightweight and comfortable even for long missions
    • Headband or helmet mounted solution
    • Fully compatible with standard night vision goggles
    • Compatible with prescription glasses

Thanks to Scorpion’s full-colour, conformal, augmented reality and intra-crew line of sight exchange, the operator sends the designated boat’s exact coordinates to the pilot’s Scorpion which displays its position right in front of the pilot’s eyes. If the boat is off-axis, a specific and intuitive symbology directs pilot’s regard to the designated boat. The pilot can identify, designate, share data, and respond in real time, day or night.
• Headband or helmet mounted solution
• Fully compatible with standard night vision goggles
• Compatible with prescription glasses
