Our sensors enable users to identify and engage hostile forces at tactical or long range, while they maintain optimal situational awareness, and stay protected inside the vehicle. DigitalCrew® smart processing can be integrated into these systems to help operators digest sensor data quickly and efficiently, enhancing decision making and significantly speeding up the OODA loop.

Thales’ vehicle optronics portfolio consists of four families: TrueHunter sighting systems; TrueGuardian vehicle protection systems; SharpAim lasers; and SharpView thermal imaging, driving and Local Situational Awareness (LSA) cameras.

DigitalCrew® is a suite of AI tools designed to reduce the cognitive burden on the operator and to support vehicle maneuverability, survivability and increased lethality. DigitalCrew acts as a virtual crew member who can look everywhere, all at once, providing automatic threat detection, classification and hands-free target tracking. Smart image enhancement tools provide the clearest possible image, ensuring that operators see first, understand faster, and act decisively, giving them the crucial edge in dynamic and high-threat environments.

The TrueHunter family of sighting systems enable the vehicle crew to see and act first, day or night, in all environmental conditions, providing long-range detection, swift target acquisition, and reliable first-round hit probability even while on the move. The family is comprised of the above-armour TrueHunter Gimbal Sight and the below-armour TrueHunter Commander and Gunner Sights. These sights are A.I. enabled with automatic threat detection, tracking and classification.

TrueGuardian vehicle protection systems deliver comprehensive threat warning and situational awareness, keeping vehicles and occupants safe with 360 degree early detection. Integrated with hard and soft kill countermeasures, protection systems can include laser warning, counter-UAS, advanced sensors, and grenade launchers for complete mission protection.

The SharpAim family features advanced laser rangefinders and a laser target designator for precise target acquisition, ensuring first-round accuracy with minimal collateral damage. SharpAim lasers are easily integrated into larger systems including sighting systems, gimbals, and Remote Weapons Stations, delivering dependable performance and enhanced operational effectiveness where it matters most.
