Passengers can enroll at biometric kiosks, airport counters or directly through airline apps using the Fly to Gate mobile SDK. Each channel performs document authentication, facial capture and liveness detection, supported by a secure ID verification stack. The result: a high-trust digital token linked to a verified identity, derived from government-grade enrolment technology.

Fast and secure identification enables travellers to move seamlessly through the airport using only their face. With sub-2 second recognition and border control-grade algorithms, Face Pods integrate with existing eGates, lounges and boarding areas, ensuring a smooth, touchless experience.

Advanced image analysis, NFC chip reading and biometric checks ensure ID documents are authenticated with confidence. The solution supports ICAO-compliant e-documents and Digital Travel Credentials (DTCs), while cloud-based identity verification and DTC management provide the bridge between airlines, airports and regulatory compliance.

Biometric tokens are stored locally in a Digital Wallet, protected with end-to-end encryption and shared only with passenger consent. Data is automatically deleted post-flight, enabling GDPR-compliant processing and ensuring maximum privacy and traveller confidence.

Fly to Gate integrates with existing airport infrastructure: CUSS kiosks, DCS systems, and eGates, via CUWS or bespoke APIs. Thales' hardware (Face Pod, kiosk, document readers) and software components (including SaaS services and SDKs) are modular and open - enabling scalable, vendor-agnostic deployments.

Monitoring dashboards, exception handling, and real-time alerts give airports full operational visibility. Combined with a strong cybersecurity stack, the platform ensures uptime, data protection and SLA adherence, even in multi-terminal, multi-airline environments.
