Thales tactical line-of-sight radios have been successfully used by the Austrian Armed Forces in EU and international missions, for instance to secure the Davos conference in cooperation with the Swiss Armed Forces. The Austrian armed forces trust in the tactical radios from Thales, including the manheld Software Defined Radio (SDR) solution Squadnet and line-of-sight solutions.

For effective air surveillance, the Austrian security relies on Thales AZR Ground Surveillance Radars.
