Defence

Thales has been a partner of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces for nearly 30 years. Its solutions are extensively deployed within the land, naval, and air forces. Key areas include secure communications, optronics, surveillance radars, training simulators, as well as aeronautical combat systems and security.
Based in Rabat, Thales' joint venture Thales Alliance Maghrib (TAM), specialises in the maintenance and repair of Thales equipment, ensuring local support for equipment in the fields of electronics, security, and the development of associated services.

Civil Aviation

As a leading supplier of avionics and onboard electronics for Boeing and Airbus, Thales regularly performs aircraft maintenance and upgrade programs in Morocco with a repair service based in Mohammed V Airport Casablanca. 
Thales also provides in-flight entertainment systems for the national airline, Royal Air Maroc's fleet of Boeing 737 and 787 aircraft. Additionally, Thales supplies air navigation aids for seven local airports.

Cyber & Digital

Thales provides customisation solutions for several strategic organisations in Morocco such as the General Directorate of National Security, Al-Maghrib Bank and various airports. 
The competency center in Rabat contributes to the development and deployment of biometric solutions for the African and Middle Eastern markets. This includes the biometric passport customisation solutions, electronic covers, driving licenses, vehicle registration cards, facial recognition and automatic biometric identification.

Thales is actively contributing to the company’s global “Low Carbon Future Strategy,” working towards Net Zero emissions by 2040. Thales in Morocco has implemented a series of initiatives focused on awareness, selective sorting, and CSR actions by involving all employees through partnerships with NGOs. 

We have equipped our 3D printing factory (T3DM) with advanced plastic waste recycling systems to reduce our ecological footprint.
