Field-proven medium-range radar

The GM200 MM/A is a field-proven medium-range radar that simultaneously detects and tracks low to high-altitude targets up to 350 km away.

It features the all-in-one approach of a single 20ft shelter containing the radar, a mast, a Power Generator Unit and 2 Command and Control (C2) positions.

Transportable on a truck and deployable for operations in 15min, it provides operators with crucial asset survivability.

In today's theatres of operation, armed forces face high intensity, fast-paced threat environments, especially with the growing presence of UAS'. These are now deployed as armed swarms, cluttering Rockets, Artillery, and Mortar (RAM) fire to saturate defences. Building on the success of the Ground Master 200 (GM 200), the GM200 MM/A increases performance by 40 percent using Thales 4D AESA technology, enhancing the detection, identification, and tracking of various targets, offering more time-on-target.

KEY FEATURES

With its “dual-axis multi beam” principle and its 4D AESA antenna technology, the radar detects, identifies and tracks targets that are becoming increasingly smaller, more agile and flighing at lower altitudes, fast or slow. Operating in the S-band and using advanced GaN technology, it can function reliably even in extreme temperatures, ensuring robust and accurate performance in diverse operational environments.

The GM200 MM/A provides superior performance with two operational modes, that can be switched back and forth without disrupting the air picture displayed to the operators. This includes:

Surveillance mode: an instrumented range of 350km and an update rate of 3s
Engagement mode: an instrumented range of 150km and an update rate of 1.5s

Combined with integrated IFF featuring certified Mode 5, the GM200 increases situational awareness significantly.

Highly mobile, the GM200 MM/A is an autonomous solution designed to fit the radar, a mast, a Power Generator Unit (PGU) and an operational cabin to accommodate two operators within a 20ft ISO shelter. Transportable on a truck or aircraft and deployable for operations in 15 minutes, with a decamp time of 2 or 10 minutes, depending on the operational mode, it provides operators with crucial asset survivability and are the key benefits of this radar.
