Ground Master 400α
Taking long-range air surveillance to the next level
The Ground Master 400α is a field-proven 3D long-range air-surveillance radar capable of detecting, classifying and tracking targets ranging from slow-moving UAVs to supersonic aircraft and missiles, at ranges up to 515 km.
LONG RANGE AIR SURVEILLANCE RADAR
Delivering peace of mind in any environment
-
Air surveillance
The GM400α provides continuous long-range air surveillance, delivering a comprehensive air picture and enhanced situational awareness to support informed decision-making.
-
Detection performance
With an update rate of 6 seconds and outstanding processing power, the GM400α continuously detects all types of airborne targets, from slow-moving drones to highly manoeuvrable fighter aircraft, at low and high speeds, at ranges of up to 515 km.
-
Mobility and survivability
Designed to offer unprecedented deployability and survivability, the GM400α fits into a compact 20-foot container equipped with an integrated lifting system. It can be mounted on a truck and redeployed in less than one hour.
A changing world
Today’s armed forces need to maintain persistent awareness of the airspace across vast areas, even as threats become increasingly diverse, dynamic and difficult to detect.
For long-range air-surveillance radars, the challenge is to detect and track airborne threats at extended ranges, providing the time and information needed to understand the situation and respond effectively.
They must also combine long-range performance with mobility, rapid deployability and survivability to remain operational in demanding environments.
Facing an increasingly diverse and evolving threat environment, the GM400α enables forces to detect and track threats at long range, while maintaining persistent awareness of the airspace. Combining long-range performance, mobility and high availability, it can be rapidly deployed and redeployed to provide continuous surveillance over vast areas, while enhancing forces’ ability to anticipate and respond effectively.
