SMART-L MM is a next generation long-range air & surface surveillance and target designation radar. With an exceptional 2000 km range, it can be installed on land-based locations as well as on naval vessels.

Very Long-Range Detection and Tracking

SMART-L MM is designed to detect and track a wide range of targets at extraordinary distances, including ballistic missiles up to 2,000 km away and air-breathing targets (such as aircraft and cruise missiles) over 480 km away. This significant range provides early warning and ample reaction time, enhancing situational awareness and engagement capabilities.
Simultaneous Multimission Capability

The radar performs air and surface surveillance at the same time, including both conventional air defence tasks and ballistic missile defence (BMD). The SMART-L MM radar can simultaneously support air defence, ballistic missile defence and Space Domain Awareness missions.
Advanced Electronic Counter-Countermeasures (ECCM) & Automation:

SMART-L MM features advanced digital beamforming, high-resolution tracking, and robust ECCM measures, making it highly resilient against jamming and electronic interference. Its high degree of automation allows for reduced operator workload, faster reaction times, and easier integration with modern C2 systems.

SMART-L Multi Mission is a next generation Long Range Multi Mission Radar for Air and Space Surveillance and Ballistic Missile Detection. The fully digitally controlled Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar applying GaN transmitter and Dual Axis Multibeam receiver technology, is capable of detecting a wide variety of air and space objects, such as ballistic missiles, from short to long range, including stealth variants, and space objects, achieving an exceptional range of 2,000 km.
