Key capacities for efficient IAMD

Early warning detection combined with continual updates from a Recognised Air Picture provided by multiple detection assets (long, medium, short and very short range) provides unprecedented situational awareness.

Fast detection of the full spectrum of threats, through:

Long range detection capability
Medium/Short & Very Short-Range Detection, with high refresh rates and low latency for optimised reaction time and firing control

The full integrated IAMD command and control chain in a collaborative network, bringing together all sensors, effectors, C2 nodes (e.g. AOC, deployable AOC, GBAD C2 nodes and Naval and Land Forces nodes, GCC members C2), while leveraging existing communication network infrastructures (ground and satellite), including cyber protection and network resilience.

An efficient multi-layered IAMD capability provides multiple engagement opportunities against:

Long range threats (i.e. BM, ABT and several UASs), using relevant effectors, upon precise detection (radars for all ranges) & threat classification (AirC2 capabilities).
Short and very short-range threats, using movable or “on the move” solutions and using adequate fire assets and ammunition (cost to kill).

The AirC2 system can integrate third party effectors and legacy systems.
