Multi-Spectral Alert

SPECTRA operates in the electromagnetic, laser, and infrared domains. It utilises smart data fusion from a variety of multi-spectral sensors to provide identification, localisation, jamming, and decoy against a wide range of threats.

Data Fusion

Data from SPECTRA sensors are fused and processed by a central computer, which prioritises and activates appropriate countermeasure actions based on a comparison of received signals with an integrated threat library for identification purposes.

Offensive Capability

SPECTRA also has a valuable offensive capability. Fused data from its sensors enables the tracking of threats within the weapon system, which can be displayed as tracks in the cockpit. These tracks can be used to target threats when the defensive mission requires their neutralization.

Threat Library

Threats encountered during missions are compared against the threats integrated into SPECTRA, which can subsequently be updated. Upon return, data can be downloaded from the aircraft for detailed analysis at the ground support centre.

User training

Threat libraries can be updated and data reviewed upon aircraft's return, both for subsequent missions and for training users at ground-based electronic warfare centres.
