The RBE2 AESA is a very high-performance radar for the Rafale omnirole fighter. Developed in close collaboration with Dassault Aviation and the DGA (French Defence Procurement Agency), it meets the expectations of the air forces and naval air forces by combining advanced fire control, detection and target tracking capabilities thanks to innovative technologies.

Drawing on over 60 years of Thales expertise in combat radar technology, the RBE2 AESA offers numerous advantages to the Rafale. Compared to conventional radars, the RBE2 AESA provides an unprecedented level of situational awareness, enabling earlier detection and tracking of multiple targets.
