ALTESSE-H is Thales's new shipboard wideband communication ESM (CESM/COMINT), a scalable solution, providing in real -time alert and early warning, tactical situation awareness, automatic identification and communication intelligence (COMINT) services.

ALTESSE-H can be installed on all classes of surface ships, from frigates to offshore patrol vessels.
Data outputs

The data collected is sent either to a Combat Management System for command and control of the ship's self-protection systems, or to a stand-alone console.
Ease of use

The system's intuitive new Human Machine Interface is designed for non-specialists as well as electronic warfare experts, helping them to perform technical analysis and maintain tactical situation awareness at the same time.

Co-designed with experienced end users, ALTESSE-H, is an innovative solution offering a full set of functions, including:

Interception, with simultaneous direction-finding and monitoring functions on a single sensor
Automatic signal identification from libraries in real time
Automatic technical signal analysis in real time
Automatic recording for offline analysis
Signal and tactical situation replay in offline mode

Outperforming other sensors, in terms of range capabilities, ALTESSE-H is becoming a key asset for detecting and locating conventional and asymmetric threats in all environments.
