See more. Know more. Act faster with DigitalCrew®
DigitalCrew® functions as an integral virtual crew member, constantly monitoring all sensors in real-time, to alert on potential threats, even those barely visible to the human eye. It automatically tracks and classifies objects of interest, and delivers instant Target Motion Analysis, aiding the crew in making faster decisions. Smart image processing integrates imagery from all sensors, delivering a comprehensive view of the platform's surroundings and enhancing images for optimal clarity in challenging conditions.
Thales has been the UK Royal Navy's sole supplier for periscopes and optronic masts for over 100 years. The first-generation CM010 optronic mast has been successfully deployed for over 15 years on more than 20 platforms worldwide, including the UK HMS Astute, and the Japanese Soryu and Taigei class submarines. The next generation of the Thales Combat System Mast, which combines world-class visuals, electronic warfare and communications, has been selected for HMS Dreadnought, one of the world’s most advanced nuclear submarines. Thales also provides visual systems for the Australian and Canadian navies.
