In an RF environment degraded by both external signals (4G, 5G) and on-board transmitters (multi-function AESA radar), the R-ESM, leveraging advanced digital processing technologies, is able to extract all signals of interest, including the most complex low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) signals.

Support naval forces

The Sentinel version has been chosen to equip the French Navy’s FDI (Frégates de Défense et d’Intervention) and the Hellenic Navy. Meanwhile, the Vigile D version is deployed on vessels belonging to the British, Dutch, and Portuguese navies.

Its wideband (from 0.5 to 40 GHz) multi-signal architecture ensures 360° instantaneous coverage of the environment and the identification of all radar signals representing imminent threats to the platform (fire control systems, missile seekers). This high level of situational awareness enables the deployment of appropriate countermeasures.
