Becoming a Thales shareholder

Acquisition of Thales share

There are two ways in which you can acquire Thales shares: 

  1. Through your conventional bank: this is known as “bearer” shareholding;
  2. Directly through Société Générale Securities Services, the financial intermediary appointed by Thales to manage its pure registered share register: this is known as “pure regitered” shareholding. 

The key advantages of “pure registered” shareholding: 

  • You will benefit from savings on management fees, as custody fees are waive;
  • You will receive direct information on all financial transactions, and will be invited to attend General Meetings;
  • If you keep your shares for at least 2 years, you will benefit from double voting rights.
